八王子を中心に多摩地域に展開するBasel。
多摩地域周辺にお住まいの方なら一度は目にしたり行ったことある人かなり多いと思います。
私も、ケーキに関しては小さな頃から結構食べています。
そんなバーゼルですがランチもやってると前々から知ってはいたもののなかなか行く機会がなく、やっと行ってきました。
今回は京王八王子駅の側の店舗です。
こちらはBaselの1号店です。
バーゼルの歴史は結構あり1969年にできたそう。
バーゼルといえば美味しいケーキですが、ずらりとショーケースにならびます。
今回はハーフのカレーと、好きなケーキが選べるものにしました。
1番先になんとお酒のサービスが。
嬉しいサプライズです。
その後セットのサラダが来ました。
カレーはハーフと言っても女性なら割とちょうど良い量かなと。
すこし辛めなので辛いのが苦手だったりお子様には向かないかなぁ。
ケーキはショーケースのとこで好きなのを選べます。
いつもチーズケーキとか食べるんですが今回は長野パープルのケーキにしました。
一緒にレモンティーをお願いしたのですがこれがあまりに来なかったのでこちらだけが本当に残念な点となりました。（まずケーキをお願いした時に飲み物もとお願いし、ケーキも来ない、飲み物も来ないで15分。やっとケーキが来たと思ってそこから飲み物が全然こず。3度違う方にお願いした上さらに来なかった、紅茶1杯にまさかの40分越え待ち。）
ケーキはナガノパープルのみずみずしさも感じられながら、クリーム甘さ控えめで美味しかったです。
ただ、ケーキはお願いしてから15分後くらいにきてそこから20分以上経ってから紅茶が来たため、食べるのを待っていたらクリームがぬるくなり、少しパサついた為本来ならもっと美味しく食べれたんじゃないかとおもい、非常に残念でした。
こうなると、やはりケーキはテイクアウトでお家で食べるのが1番かもとおもってしまいますね。
お味がおいしかった故残念な出来事でした。
こちらに行かれる際は十分な時間を持って行った方がいいかと思われます。
