友人が近所ということもあり、初訪問。
吉祥寺からバスで7分ほど。
鮨に集中するため、写真無しです。
店に入ると、靴を脱いで掘りごたつカウンターへ着席。
大将は気さくな雰囲気。高まる期待。。。
最初にアラと北寄貝。
北寄貝の甘みがすごかった。過去一。
数の子味噌漬けは、日本酒がどんどん進んでしまう危険な1皿。
感動したのは鰆。
燻製の香りも勿論、身の柔らかさに思わず唸ってしまった。
握りも素晴らしく美味しかった。
いくら軍艦は、いくらの皮を感じず、パリッとした海苔が香り高く、感動した。
何より、大将のマインドが唯一無二。
なぜアクセスの悪い立地を選んだのか、なぜその場で予約を取れないのか、なぜ弟子をとらないのか。
全ては大将の思いから。
本当に美味しい鮨を求めている人だけをターゲットにしている。
予約困難店で大将の動画を撮影し、提供された鮨をすぐに食べずにじっくり動画で撮るようなインスタグラマーは向かない店。
鮨が好きな方は絶対に行くべき。
