【2023/10/14】 うどん白石
いちじくのパフェを食べた後、軽い夕食に吉祥寺・成蹊大学前（成蹊学園ケヤキ並木前）にある「うどん白石」を訪れた。
以前からずっと訪れてかったお店でやっと入店出来た。
カウンター席に座る。
メニューを拝見するとちくわ天、とり天、ぶっかけ、さぬきの夢2000、いりこなどの言葉が見えるので、讃岐うどんかと思っていると「讃岐」とか「讃岐風」と言う文字は一切なく、自家製麺がご自慢のお店のようだ。
寒くなって来たので冷たいうどんじゃなくて暖かい物を注文する事にした。

注文してから店内を見回してみても、成蹊大学の運動部・文化部の部員の行きつけのお店ではなさそうな事が分かる。往々にして大学の近所にあるお店は大学のクラブ、サークルのたまり場だったり、ご主人はそこの大学の卒業生だったりする事が多いのだが、それは伺い知れなかった。
自家製麺は目の前で茹でられ、天ぷらも注文があってから揚げられる。
ご自慢の麺とお出汁と共に出来立てを提供するという姿勢のようだ。ベースはやっぱり讃岐うどんなのかな？
出来上がりを頂いてみると拘りのむっちり麺がやはり特徴的で、決して讃岐うどんではなく、もっとつるっとしていてもっちもしている。腰はあまりある方だとは言えないが、喉越しは凄く良い。
お出しも混布とかいりこ、鰹節などを使っている事はよく分かるが、どれかが立っている訳ではなくバランスが取れた出汁だ。
それに使っている鶏肉にしても鶏卵、野菜にも拘りがある事が良く分かった。
美味しかった。
尚、トレードマークの眉毛の太いうさぎは御主人の事だと分かる。
吉祥寺の五日市街道は吉祥寺から三鷹まで美味しそうなお店が点在している。
まだまだ訪れたいお店があるが、このうどん屋さんはリピート確実なお店だと思う。
