最近五反田がいい。リトル新橋ともいわれる。と聞いたので、「じゃ、五反田で呑もう」ということになりました。
東口のロータリーを超え、ドン・キホーテのあるあたりがいちばん怪しげです。キャッチに気を付けながらそのエリアを超えた先にこのお店、BEETLEがありました。
店内は大きなコの字型のカウンターがあるのにすごく好感が持てます。こういうカウンターを設置しているお店にあまり外れはありません。奥には４人掛け。「大きな声、拍手など禁止」のポスターも好感が持てます。隣のサラリーマン３人組、焼酎のボトルを落として割ってしまうほど騒いでましたがお店に一喝です。
注文したのはポテサラ、串もの、アジフライ、味噌ピーマンなど。煮込みには白と赤があり、赤は辛いそうです（僕らは白をオーダー）。お酒の種類豊富ですが、こういうお店ではホッピーがいいです。ビールは大瓶、これは素晴らしい。大瓶が出る店に悪いお店はありません。
料理おいしい、お酒豊富、店員さん元気で愛想がいい、三拍子も四拍子も揃ったよいお店でした。また行きたいです。
