Kakoro Kamata Nishiguchi Main Store @ Kamata ・B Lunch (Stir-fried eggplant and pork with soy sauce) 700 yen A 5-minute walk from the West Exit of JR Kamata Station, this Chinese Cuisine store is located on the west edge of the bar district (Bourbon Road) along the tracks of the Tokyu Ikegami Line. There are restaurant at the west exit and the east exit at Kamata Station, and this west exit seems to be the main store. The interior of the store has an elongated layout in the back, and the space is larger than you imagined from the outside. There are table seats on both sides of the middle aisle, and there is also a round table for a large number of people in the back. Smoking is allowed even at lunchtime, and there are ashtrays at all seats. The table seats were full, so I was passed to a round table in the back, but there was only one customer. To be honest, I don't like sharing a seat with a stranger in this world ... It's a 90-degree position of the round table, so it's not facing each other, but there are no acrylic panels. Well, if you care about that, you might be told to eat out at this time. The lunch menu includes A, B, and C lunch set meal sets, as well as Noodles and rice dishes for around 700~800 yen. I ordered the B lunch "Stir-fried eggplant and pork with soy sauce" (700 yen). There seems to be only one person in the kitchen, and the food is cooked in order of order, so it seems to take a long time if it is crowded. This time, it was served in about 15 minutes. Rice, side dishes, sasai, soup, and dessert are served on trays. Cold is served in a large square highball mug so that you don't have to pour it over and over again as a refill. The side dish of stir-fried eggplant and pork with soy sauce seems to be about one whole with plenty of eggplant. It also contains carrots, onions, and bell peppers. The stir-fry is perfect and the seasoning is excellent. However, it was a little disappointing that there were only about 3 slices of pork. The rice is dry and partly sticky, which is common with rice that has been kept warm for a long time in a rice cooker. It was quite a large serving of rice for the volume of the side dish, but there was a lot of Small dish sasai, and the Chinese soup with sea lions was heavily seasoned, so I didn't have any leftover rice. Apricot bean curd for dessert? The jelly is light, or rather, translucent, and looks like apricot bean curd diluted 2~3 times and hardened with agar. There was no particular guidance, but I noticed that there was a coffee server near the entrance when I checked, so it seems that the coffee after dinner is also self-service. Overall, I think that 700 yen for a lunch set is an average level for a Chinese Cuisine restaurant in downtown. The Kamata area is a fierce battle zone for China, and there are many restaurants with higher quality food for lunch in the same price range, but there must be a certain amount of demand as a restaurant that meets the needs of neighboring salarymen who want to smoke while drinking coffee after meals.
