前日にもテレコムセンターのレストランを利用した。食後中華料理店の前を通ったら行列ができていた。そんなに人気なのか？と思ったがお弁当も売っていた。店内は広く一人も利用しやすい。お茶はテーブルの上に置いてあるので自由に飲めた。
「私の食事まだですか？」と何度も質問している二人連れのお客様。私の食事の方が先に来てしまった。注文したのは日替わり定食で牛肉と胡椒炒め920円。1人の食事が届きもう1人がまだ。こういうストレスがあるため1人でランチをするのである。
思っていたのと違い、牛肉にかなり片栗粉がまぶしてあって揚げ物状態である。この状態だからこそタレが絡むのだろう。しっかりと味付けされている。胡椒のアクセントもいい。ライスのおかわりはできるようだが、店員さんも忙しくお願いする余裕もなさそう。そしてゆっくりと食事ができない時間になってしまった。オフィスからの往復歩き、食事を待つ時間、お昼60分じゃ足りない。
