梅雨の合間にまさかの30度越え。暑い〜。肉だ、カレーだ！ということで、こちらのステーキカレーをいただきました。
場所は小岩駅南口から徒歩。サイフォンのお隣といえばエスニック通な方にはすぐわかる立地かと思います。本格的な鉄板焼き屋さんです。ここでランチにステーキカレーが食べられるなんて、カレーおじさんのレビューを見なかったら知ることはなかったでしょう。
ステーキカレーはドリンク付きで1296円です。注文してややあって登場。トレーにカレー、サラダ、味噌汁、小鉢、漬物が乗っています。サイドも充実していますね。
カレーはスパイシーではなくシチューのような味わいです。牛の出汁と生クリームかなぁ。ステーキはシンプルに塩胡椒の味付け、大きなお肉のスライスは弾力がありつつ柔らかくて美味しかったです。お米はななつぼしを使用とのことでしたが、わざわざターメリックライスをバターで炒めたピラフのような仕上がりになっていて手が込んでいましたね。人参のみじん切りも入っていたような？香りがとても良かったです。
食後にはアイスティーで一息。
カレーにスパイシーさを求めると、ちょっと違いますがステーキとそれに合うカレーによるお料理と捉えると納得だし、美味しいです。雰囲気はあまり小岩らしくないとも言えます(笑)。火曜日はステーキランチが割引になるそうですよ(^-^)。
