A tenant on the first floor of a housing complex in Nishi-Ojima. Inside the store, cheerful staff serve customers while humming (not in a bad way). This time I ordered the nihari (1,000 yen) and roti (200 yen) that I had decided on. Nihari is a rare treat as there are very few restaurants where you can eat it. The nihari that was served was served spicy, probably because I asked for it, and the soup had a strong flavor and was very delicious. The meat is also tender, so you'll find yourself eating it with your chopsticks at a rapid pace. Roti has a light texture, and the more you eat it, the more you will like it than naan. I have only had nihari a few times, but this was an extremely delicious nihari. I was still hungry after finishing my meal, so I tried to order a pudding, but they said they didn't have any available today. Therefore, I ordered gulab jamun (90 yen) and milk tea (250 yen), which were not on the menu. There was only one gulab jamun, but it was hot and freshly fried and very delicious. The milk tea (also known as chai) was also easy to drink and very satisfying. It's great to be able to enjoy delicious food at reasonable prices even at dinner time. By the way, this is a non-alcoholic bar so drinkers should be careful as there is no alcoholic beverage available. But the food was delicious enough without the aid of alcohol.
