市ヶ谷駅前に新しく"外堀PAIRON"がオープン！
餃子が自慢の台湾小吃風居酒屋です。8名様以上は個室貸切もできます。 |
友人と平日ランチで初訪問。
飯田橋駅界隈の住宅街にある店で、玄関で食券を購入するシステム。
見れば定食メニューばかりで、初めての訪問者には選ぶのが悩ましい。
餃子単品も欲しかったが、仕方なく定食メニューを選択。
店内の奥にあるテーブル席に着席する。
雰囲気は中華レストランというより、夜の居酒屋風。
注文したのは「二大餃子定食」餃子5個800円税込。
友人は「白龍餃子定食・鶏セット」900円をチョイス。
セットのご飯は、豚肉の魯肉飯(ルーローファン)、鶏肉飯(チーローファン)から選ぶ。
今回は鶏肉飯にした。
通常タイプの白龍餃子から微妙なスパイスの香。
皮はモッチリ、餡はジューシーな味わいで餃子の固定観念を破る味。
緑色した翡翠のような青龍餃子はニラの風味が楽しめる。
店がお薦めのように、レンゲに餃子を乗せて食べみる。
ニンニクを使わない餡なのか、どちらも臭みやくどさが無い。
女性にも食べやすいが、賞味期限は共に15分以内。
この時間過ぎると、次第に皮が硬くなる。
餃子の味わいは繊細で上品。
しかし、ガッツリ来る男性的な強烈な味わいに乏しい。
豆もやしサラダと冷奴も付くが、おかずとしては味が足りなく感じる。
仕事の合間のランチとしては好都合だが、もっと刺激がほしかった。
