JR高田馬場駅の戸山口を出て徒歩5分ちょっと、大久保寄りにあるマルエツオレンジコートの奥にある団地一階にある日本料理店。
平日のお昼ごろ約3年ぶりと久しぶりに訪問。店内はカウンター席、テーブル席、奥に掘りごたつじゃない畳のお座敷席がある。
以前は混むと詰め込まれる系の店だったが、この日は荒天だったせいか空いていた。テーブル席に腰掛ける。
メニューは日本食の定食がメイン。アジ、イワシなど魚の定食も種類が充実している。そんな中で目を引いた「広島県産 カキフライ定食 890円」にする。
待つことは10分ちょっとで提供あり、ごはんにみそ汁、冷や奴が付く。メインのカキフライは普通サイズで広島県産なのかは分からなかったが、普通のカキフライだった。
イワシフライを食べていた同行人も言っていたが、なんとなく和定食というより、二度揚げした揚げ物のお弁当を店内で食べているという感覚になる。
調理場の方とホールのおばさま方の関係がうまくいかないことがあり、そのやり取りが食べていると丸聞こえなのでやめてほしい。会計は現金のみ、今度はお弁当を買ってみようかな。
