日本橋高島屋の地下１階のお菓子コーナーの一角に出店している、創業して150年以上になる浜松の老舗和菓子店。
「いちご大福」も美味しそうだったのですが、ビジュアルが可愛すぎて、食べると罪悪感でいっぱいになりそうだったので、当初の予定通り『どら焼き』を購入。
こちらのお店での『どら焼き』の歴史は浅く、2004年の店舗改築の際に5代目が仮店舗限定で販売したところ、人気だった様で仮店舗期間が終了してからも販売継続の声が多く人気商品の一つとなったそうです。
直径10cmに満たない見た目は少し小さめの『どら焼き』ですが、厚みはそこそこあります。
波照間産黒糖が使用されているうっすらと茶色の生地は、ほんのり甘めでしっとりしながらもふんわりしてて美味しい。
生地と同じ厚みになる程たっぷり入ったつぶ餡は、甘さ控えめで滑らかな舌触りながら所々に残る小豆は皮の食感がしっかり残ってて、ふたつの食感が同時に楽しめました。
賞味期限は、購入日を含め３日間です。
他にも老舗和菓子店らしいお菓子や現代風にアレンジした新しいタイプの和菓子など気になるものが沢山あったので、次は違うお菓子も食べてみたいです。
