東京駅八重洲地下街のTokyo Curry Quartetにある奥芝商店。
東京駅で買い物がてら夕食。
時刻は夜6時半。
コロンビア８、SITAARAは既に訪問しているので、本日は此方へ。
カウンター席に案内され、席の下に鞄を収めた。
店頭のメニューに惹かれて注文したのは以下。
海老列車カリー(2200円)
■辛さ 辛口
■ライス 普通(200g)
「奥芝商店自慢！海鮮の豪華列車」だそうな。
紙エプロンを被って待っていると、しばらくしてライスの皿、更に待っていると、スープカリーが到着。
海老煎餅を衝立に、大根、茄子、ブロッコリー、人参、豆苗などの野菜に茹卵、そして殻付き海老が列車のように連なる。
そして、海老以外の魚介はというと・・・つみれボールが2つスープに浸かっているw
海老のスープは「辛口」を選んだが海老の旨味なのか甘口。最近まで胃腸の調子がいまいちだった定年間際のオジサンの胃にも優しい海老のスープカリーだ。スープの量が少なくてライスが余り気味だった・・・
黄金週間前の木曜夜という微妙な日だったからだろうか、結構空いていた。男性スタッフが3人も居て会計は自動支払い機を導入しているので、接客に注力出来る余力は充分あるはずなのだが、何故か最低限の働きしかしないスタッフ達w
