This restaurant is a little closer to Nihonbashi than the popular Yaesu store. Although it mainly serves mackerel, it's not all mackerel. There were many dishes unrelated to mackerel, such as salads and yakitori, so it was a well-balanced course. Fried food are a little pre-prepared, but for this price it is quite satisfying. The salads are well-crafted. The marinated squid and tomato was not very popular, so there was some left. The sashimi was quite fresh. Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) was a little watery, but the portions were large and well seasoned. The somen noodles at the end were delicious. It's not suitable for entertaining, but it's not so noisy that you can't talk, so it can be used for a relaxed drinking party with close friends. I thought it was much better than going to a chain Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) for the same price.
