銀座コリドー街で緊急事態宣言で休業中の店が多い中、いつも大繁盛の街中も人影が疎らな状態になっている。平日の昼間12時過ぎ。店前で行列を為しているのはあの有名なすし屋さん美登利以外に、TOROさんだけ。(店内は広くテーブルがたくさん空いているので、入店の案内が追いついていないだけと後ほど気づいた。)殆どの人は990円のステーキランチ目当てで、100g~300gまで同じ値段＆ライスおかわり自由なので、日比谷付近のサラリーマンにとってもうランチ聖地に近い存在ではないか。
確かに店内の男性客が圧倒的に多い。300gのハラミステーキをこの値段で食べれるのは不思議としか言えないが、食べ残しも良くないので真ん中の200gを頼んだ。チキンステーキ、リブステーキも一応提供されているが、やはりハラミの方がダントツ的に人気高い。
みんな同じメニューを注文しているのに、焼き上がるには意外と時間がかかった。熱々の鉄板に豪快にカットされた大きめのハラミステーキ。ミディアムの焼き具合で切りやすい。お肉も柔らかくてジューシー。小鉢のトマトはステーキのソース的な存在になるので、爽やかな酸味で食欲をそそる。
ステーキランチが良かったが、いつかレギュラーメニューのメキシカン料理も食べてみたいな。
