どこでもいいやという気持ちで、ランチ案内黒板を頼りに入った店。
映画鎌田行進曲の階段落としのような、幅広の階段を上がった２階にあるのだが、店の入口はなんとも殺風景。
営業をしているのかどうか？ その前に、ここでいいのか迷ったくらいだ。
店内は真っ赤な椅子が整列されていて、パッと見て50人は収容できる広さ。
だが、先客はいない。12時20分になる。
フロアにはバーカウンターがあるので、どうやら夜営業がメインで、昼間遊ばしておくのはもったいないから、ランチでもやろうか。そんな雰囲気ムンムン。
ランチメニューは、パスタ、ピザ、ステーキ、カレーなどがあり、サラダ・スープ・ドリンク付きで、1,100円～1,500円。
ただコーヒーはドリンクに入っていなくて別料金。この辺のサービス感覚が愚鈍じゃないかい。
結局ウーロン茶を選んだが、水が出てこないので、ドリンクは水の代用品という位置付けか。
ペペロンチーノをいただきました。
オリーブオイルとニンニクの旨味が調和された美味しいパスタです。
スープもほどよくコショーが利いていて申し分ない味。
これだけの美味しい料理を提供しながら、ランチ営業の活気のなさが残念、残念だわ。
ランチからディナーへ誘われる客もいるので、もっと積極的にPRしたらいいのに.....。
