設計の仕事に長年携わるオーナーの事務所兼、フレンチを提供する古民家カフェ。
その道は素人なのでうまく表現できないが、
アンティーク調に統一された内装と大理石の机に背筋が伸びる。
雰囲気の良さもさることながら、料理が群を抜いた美味しさ。
旨さの中に繊細さのある…フレンチ独特の手法なんだろうか
スープも、キッシュも芸術的な美味しさだった。
キッシュは使用している素材が徹底されている。
小麦は新潟さんのもの、チーズはフェルミエ、お肉は津南ポーク。
どれも主張しすぎず、繊細さな美味しさが口いっぱいに広がる。
デザートのブランデーケーキ？も凄まじい。
付け合わせのアイスクリームと一緒に噛んでいくと
見事に溶け合うような味わい。
意図は聞かなかったが、ソースとしての役割なんだろうか。
ドリンクも素敵だった。
特にサイフォン式で水を1滴ずつ滴下し、
8時間かけて抽出したアイスコーヒーは格別。
深煎りのフルボディで香りがしっかりとありながらも
ほのかに甘く透き通るような味わい
そして荘厳ながらも温かみのある古民家という空間。
最高以外の言葉がなかった。
今度は是非ディナーメニューを網羅したい。
