上田で有名蕎麦屋と言えば間違いなく名前があがるのがコチラ「刀屋」さん。1961年創業の老舗であり昔から「大盛り」で有名。何故か来る機会がなくお初です。
土曜15時店着。老舗オーラを感じる暖簾を潜ると店内は予想よりコンパクト。いわゆる町のお蕎麦屋さんって雰囲気。内装は創業当時からのようでレトロで良い感じ。
味のある店内を眺めつつ暫し待機。となりの客は普通？大盛り？正に蕎麦が山のように盛られている。わたしは腹はめちゃ減っているが夕飯まで間がないので中を選択。
＜ざる(中)/800円＞
太めの田舎蕎麦。ツルツルというよりムシャムシャ食べる感じ。ツユがもうちょい濃い方が好みかな。「並は一人前より少ないです」なんて言われたけど普通に腹一杯。ごちそうさまでした。
蕎麦切れらしく自分のうしろ2組で暖簾が外されてました。早めの来店が無難にようです。
