I visited the shop right at its opening time of 9 AM.
The temperature that day was 18°C.
It felt like a natural air conditioner.
I was looking forward to the soft serve ice cream and the highland cabbage.
I quickly headed to the ticket machine to buy the soft serve.
I ordered...
★ Milk Float (JPY 350, tax included)
This is a classic treat with soft serve ice cream sitting atop the familiar Poppo milk I grew up with.
Surprisingly, the soft serve didn’t melt, allowing me to enjoy both the milk and the ice cream separately.
Unlike the rich Jersey milk soft serve from Seisenryo, this one is a true classic soft serve.
It has a rich flavor yet remains light, with a delightful milky aftertaste.
Moreover, the milk is just the regular Poppo milk I know and love, rather than overly rich.
It was a great meal.
By the way, I felt it was a shame to throw away the cup after finishing.
This cup can actually be used as a measuring cup, which is fantastic.
With the cute Poppo milk logo, it makes for a nice little souvenir, so I highly recommend it.
