Atmosphere
After a long time, I visited Karuizawa, and with the theme of going to a new restaurant near the hotel, I finally made it to KAZBOND, which had caught my interest for a while.
The interior was more spacious than I imagined, with an open kitchen where the meat was grilled right in front of me, creating an overwhelming stage-like presence.
Taste
I ordered tripe, potato salad, thick-cut bacon, cobb salad, and the KAZ burger. While enjoying a beer and hot water, I savored each dish, all infused with a delightful smoky aroma from the wood.
Everything was delicious, but I was particularly surprised by the tripe, which lacked the usual strong odor thanks to the wood smoke. The burger was, of course, delicious as well, making it a place I would love to visit again.
Service
The staff were always smiling and wonderful.
It was a cold day with snow falling, so I was pleased when they suggested hot water alongside my beer.
As I left, they greeted me with smiles, making for a truly wonderful experience.
