The herbs were just right, and the chicken was moist and tender—absolutely delicious!♪
【Half Chicken Set + Cheddar Cheese】
The half chicken is definitely substantial! The hot chicken has a wonderful herbal aroma.
The meat is juicy and soft.
If possible, it's better to eat the skin and meat together for a perfect balance of saltiness, making it even tastier.
(Just the meat might be a bit lacking in saltiness... so adding the cheddar cheese was a personal stroke of genius!)
The salad was generous, which was a nice touch!
Surprisingly, the roast and potatoes were tasty, so I wish I could have had more of those... haha.
The soup that came with the set had a delicious broth, but it was a bit salty, so I secretly diluted it with water to drink. Haha.
You can choose to have either bread or rice, or skip both for a larger salad, and I opted for rice...
But since the chicken pairs well with rice...
The rice was a bit underwhelming, which was a bit disappointing.
Rice is expensive, and given the current times, it might be challenging... but I can't help but feel disappointed about the rice, which is such an essential part of Japanese cuisine.
【Quarter Chicken and Grilled Duck Set】
The chicken was just as delicious as ever.
You can't choose the part, but I think it was thigh this time?
I prefer thighs over breasts, so I was lucky to get my favorite cut.
The duck was also delightful...♪
Sometimes you encounter duck that is tough and hard to eat, but here it was tender, and the fat was sweet and just right!
【Non-Alcoholic Lemon Sour】
It was on the sweeter side...
So rather than a lemon sour, it felt more like lemonade, but it was still tasty.
