There is surprisingly a coworking space at the Karuizawa Outlet, and it features a relatively new cafe. Located at the western edge of the outlet, it’s less crowded, and the view of the beautiful lawn through the large windows makes it an ideal spot to take a break from shopping fatigue. While the coworking space charges a seating fee, the cafe does not. You can secure a seat first and then place your order at the gift shop register. To my delight, the coffee served here is from Mikado Coffee! The wine, priced at just JPY 500, is generously poured into a glass, making it a great deal. The snacks are the same as those sold in the gift shop, but there are also some light meals available.
Be careful, as it’s so comfortable that you might find it hard to return to shopping! ^_^
