【Karuizawa Travel Edition】
I came to Karuizawa with my husband and visited the old Karuizawa Ginza Street for the first time in a while. We discovered a cute and beautiful Snoopy café that just opened at the end of July, so we decided to have some tea there.
This shop has a Snoopy store on the first floor, featuring stylish and adorable Snoopy merchandise, chocolates, and snacks, all of which were really cute.
The café on the second floor is a Japanese-style café that blends Snoopy with traditional Japanese elements. It has a relatively simple atmosphere, but since the Snoopy restaurants and cafés in the city are usually crowded, it was nice to find this place not too busy, allowing us to get in quickly.
By the way, I found out that this Snoopy Japanese café has locations not only in Karuizawa but also in Ise, Yufuin, Kyoto Nishiki, and Otaru, each with different menus.
We ordered the ★Bel Shinshu Milk Soft Serve and Apple Japanese Parfait, ★Iced Milk Tea, and ★Iced Tea.
We shared the parfait, which was small but priced at JPY 1320, a bit on the higher side. However, it looked incredibly cute, and the soft serve inside was lightly sweetened and delicious, so it was worth it.
In contrast, the drinks were reasonably priced compared to the desserts, and the containers were also Snoopy-themed, which was adorable.
There are terrace seats available, the restrooms are clean, and the staff is friendly and pleasant, making it a great spot to take a break for tea after strolling around the old Karuizawa Street.
