Nagano residents will receive a 10% discount. We're here to help you create fun, friendly, and relaxing memories. In the afternoon, you can enjoy traditional British-style afternoon tea and various types of tea, and in the evening, you can enjoy drinks at the bar (pub), making it feel like you are in England. Chris, a British owner who came to Japan in 1984, will speak to you in English and, with some unusual Japanese. The hotel and dining room have been tastefully renovated over the past few years, and each room has been individually designed with a boutique feel. ALBERT'S' most classic menu is the British-style breakfast menu created by owner Chris, who serves perfect eggs from happy chickens. It was harvested right on the hotel grounds! - Full English Breakfast - Smoked Fish Breakfast - Your choice. Afternoon Tea Service: A new menu created by a classical chef who trained for three years at Roppongi's famous Michelin-starred Pierre Gagnaire. Everything is homemade: We offer a hearty home-made menu of sausage rolls, cucumber and salmon Sandwiches, scones, bread and butter pudding, Sweets and more. |
A little while ago, I stayed here at the request of my daughter, who is a big fan of British culture.
The accommodation itself is cozy, blending a British vibe with handmade art that harmonizes beautifully with the greenery and pop elements of everyday life, creating a very pleasant atmosphere.
The receptionist was a friendly German lady who spoke clear English. The madam and monsieur were warm and approachable, providing a gentle and unobtrusive service that was just right.
On the day of our visit, it felt like about 80% of the guests were from overseas.
The room was filled with colors, designs, and scents that exuded an international flair, adding to the travel experience. The abundant natural light and spacious bathtub were delightful, and the view of the lush greenery from the window was a bonus. We all had a comfortable sleep.
After a morning stroll in the garden, we enjoyed breakfast at the lodge-style restaurant.
My father and son, who had just returned from a trip to the UK, were expecting a heavy breakfast, but they were pleasantly surprised to find a choice between fish and meat, with just the right amount of food. In a relaxed, cottage-like atmosphere, we enjoyed fresh vegetables, freshly baked bread, and homemade apple juice.
I tried the egg pudding recommended by the madam for the first time, and it was different from what I imagined— not too sweet, with a soft and crumbly texture that was healthy and delicious! (I suppose each restaurant and household has its own unique flavor.)
I initially booked this place with a BnB image in mind, but after reading other reviews, I learned that dinner is also available. I would love to try the beef stew next time I visit!
Refreshing and vivid! A warm hideaway overflowing with greenery! Thank you for a wonderful time! ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
