I hadn't been to Karuizawa much, so I made a reservation quite a while ago and finally visited.
Although it's called Karuizawa, it's about a 20-30 minute drive from the town center.
As you drive deeper into the mountains, you suddenly come across a gate, and following the road leads you to the hotel front desk.
There, I was warmly welcomed, handed my car keys, and checked in.
During check-in, I enjoyed a welcome drink, which I forgot to mention was iced tea.
The front desk, the guest rooms, and the hospitality from the staff were all exceptional.
For dinner, I brought a bottle of Le Roy red wine.
The corkage fee was JPY 6,000, which isn't cheap, but the sommelier's attentive service and the outstanding quality of the food made it worth it.
Breakfast was a full spread at the Italian restaurant on the 5th floor.
Honestly, I couldn't finish everything, but the omelet was absolutely delicious.
Not only was the food delicious, but the facilities and service level were also outstanding.
I felt that this place is better suited for adults rather than families with small children, as it enhances the overall satisfaction.
I definitely want to come back!
