One of our go-to spots during our Karuizawa trip is MMOP. It has a photo museum and several restaurants, making it a great place to spend some time.
We decided to have breakfast here!
◎ Lumberjack Plate JPY 1,600, tax Included
- Fluffy scrambled eggs
- 2 mini plain pancakes
- 2 slices of bacon
- Home fries (potatoes and seasonal stir-fried vegetables)
◎ Hot Coffee JPY 600
The pancakes are simply served with maple syrup and butter. They’re not bad, but they taste like they used a pancake mix similar to that of Royal Host or Denny's! (laughs)
The stir-fried vegetables are quite lightly seasoned, so adding some salt from the table might be just right.
The scrambled eggs and bacon were perfectly delicious!
The pricing is quite bold, possibly accounting for the location, but the taste was just okay. However, the service was good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and it's family-friendly, making it a nice spot to visit during our trip! It was a great meal! ☺︎
