Located about a 7 to 8 minute walk north from Karuizawa Station, this Spanish restaurant is also found in Shibuya. Its main branch is in Spain, making this location one of only two in the world, alongside Tokyo.
I made a reservation for lunch on a holiday. However, it seems you could easily walk in for lunch without a reservation.
The restaurant is situated on the first floor of a hotel.
Inside, there are casual café-style tables. Since it’s in a hotel, many families dine here.
The lunch course options are:

I opted for the JPY 6,000 course this time.
There are 7 dishes, including dessert.
The portion sizes are generous.
I’m not sure if they use local vegetables, but the veggies were delicious. The shrimp paella had a slightly sweet flavor reminiscent of ketchup.
The soufflé omelet was incredibly fluffy! It was so light and airy.
The main dish was roasted Iberico pork Bellota, which had a great balance between the lean and fatty parts.
The final basque cheesecake was rich and delightful.
This place offers a casual lunch that’s stylish yet approachable.
It’s a great choice for families with children.
