On the third day in Karuizawa,
I stopped by for lunch before heading back to Tokyo. ✨
I made a reservation in advance.
It seems to be a popular spot, but it was spacious and seemed suitable for various occasions.
The lunch crowd consisted mainly of women. ✨
The evening atmosphere also looked quite nice.
For lunch that day, I had the JPY 5000 course.
The appetizers and dessert are served individually,
but for the plates of prosciutto onward, we had to share from a large dish.
Their signature pasta paella
was impressive when I tried it in Barcelona,
but here it seemed to be a bit overcooked.
Overall, it was just okay...
It's hard to describe, maybe a bit lifeless...
It was delicious, but perhaps my condition was not the best.
I heard they opened a branch in Shibuya,
and I was looking forward to visiting.
It was a great meal.
