I visited for Sunday morning and found it to be a stylish restaurant!
However, in contrast to the chic interior, the service and food were disappointing, which was truly regrettable...
Since it's a restaurant in a hotel, I expected pleasant service, but the person who attended to our table felt more like a diner’s aunt with a casual demeanor.
Their posture wasn’t great, and while walking, they swung the salad plate back and forth at waist level, which was quite shocking.
Although it didn’t fall apart, it was far from elegant service. It’s a shame, especially at such a lovely hotel in Karuizawa.
I ordered a main dish, but upon taking a bite, I found it quite salty!
Maybe another menu item would have been better...
Drinks and bread were self-service with unlimited refills available.
