I remembered how delicious it was when I visited before, so I decided to come back.
Since I was here, I thought we would enjoy some wine and small bites together, but somehow it turned into a request for a course meal.
It doesn't make sense that we can't enjoy a casual drink and snacks while having such fine Spanish cuisine.
At this point, I was a bit disappointed.
If they can serve a course, they should also be able to serve a la carte, so I asked the head chef to check, and he confirmed it was possible.
I wish they had mentioned that from the start.
There seems to be a lack of communication, as they confirm each dish one by one, which really affects the flow and pacing.
I don't want a manual-like service like at McDonald's or Yoshinoya.
Despite the back and forth, every dish on the menu was delicious.
Especially the dessert, was it cheesecake? Tiramisu? It was truly delightful.
This is a classic example of a restaurant changing after becoming famous.
If we rate it based on service, I would not recommend it, but if based on taste, it’s worth a visit.
The paella was neither great nor terrible.
I still haven't found a place that can surpass Tio Danjou, the first restaurant to bring Spanish cuisine to Japan in Chofu.
