I spotted Tonkatsu Imai while heading to the Karuizawa Outlets, and it caught my interest.
The exterior looked delicious, so I decided to stop by on my way back.
However, as soon as I sat down at the table, I realized I might have made a mistake.
It turns out this place has been transformed into a simulation golf venue!
Is this a cafe between rounds of golf?!
Feeling a bit apprehensive, I looked at the menu and was even more shocked.
The Tenderloin Cutlet Gozen is JPY 3480!?
Did I accidentally stumble into a luxury golfing experience??
Yet after tasting the food, I was pleasantly surprised.
First, they serve clay pot rice that is cooked fresh after ordering.
Delicious! Each grain of rice stands out beautifully and is so tasty!
Refills are unlimited!!
The tonjiru (pork miso soup) also comes with unlimited refills!
The tenderloin cutlet is outstanding!
It's quite thick, yet the temperature control is perfect, cooked just right.
If it had been a bit earlier, the juices would have been running; if later, it might have been dry.
Even the pickles were delicious.
This place truly excels at serving dishes that keep you wanting more!
