The classic appetizer of sea urchin and cauliflower mousse was particularly delicious, featuring chunks of crab and shrimp. Considering the cost, many renowned restaurants in Karuizawa charge quite a bit for both meat and fish in their courses, but here you can enjoy both at a relatively affordable price, which is fantastic.
I prefer to explore different types of wine, and the option to choose glass wines around JPY 800 is perfect for us, as the pairing sets can feel a bit excessive.
My companion raved about the chestnut mille-feuille for dessert.
