On June 21, 2025, at 11:30 AM,
I arrived at Lake Shiozawa by rental bike.
It was another beautifully sunny day.
Even a 70-year-old man was applying sunscreen before heading out!
I hadn't been to Lake Shiozawa in over 40 years.
It's been beautifully maintained and stylishly named "Taliassen."
I strolled around the lakeside and took a break.
My companion ordered the "Nagano Purple Sundae" for JPY 600,
while I chose the local craft beer "Wednesday's Cat" for JPY 880.
What a price! (о´∀`о)
Still, it was a refreshing and easy-to-drink choice.
Now, let's return the rental bike and head back to the outlet!
I don't know the origin of the name,
but I was told it's a "light and refreshing type with a subtle aroma."
