During my recent trip to Karuizawa, I stayed at Le Chien, a pet-friendly hotel from the Dormy Inn chain. One of the highlights of my stay was the dinner, which featured a full French course. The appetizers were elaborate and paired perfectly with wine. The staff were exceptional, creating a comfortable atmosphere that made for an enjoyable dinner experience. My dog was thrilled with the beef steak, which he found incredibly delicious (laughs).
Also, when you think of Dormy Inn, you can't forget about the late-night soba. On the first night, I had shoyu ramen, and on the second night, I tried tomato ramen. The tomato ramen became pasta-like when I added garlic, Tabasco, and grated cheese, and it was delightful.
I forgot to take pictures of breakfast, but it was a buffet style, and they offered free sparkling wine! Overall, this hotel provides excellent hospitality. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious dinner while staying in Karuizawa with their pets.
