On a holiday, I visited just before closing time at 6 PM, and there were still a few customers inside.
I had forgotten to buy salt, pepper, and barbecue sauce for grilling meat for dinner, so I thought I might find something here.

It wasn’t related to Shinshu…
It’s from Shizuoka!
But it pairs well with meat.
Shinshu Miso Sauce: JPY 788 ★★
This was the only sauce that resembled barbecue sauce.
It could go with tonkatsu or anything, but it was on the sweeter side.
I used the rest for stir-fried meat and vegetables, but it was still sweet.
It seems like it would also go well with tofu.
