Day 2 in Karuizawa.
This morning, I explored the Nakakaruizawa area and made my way to the Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza.
For lunch, I enjoyed a sauce katsu rice bowl at "Meijitei" and then went on a shopping spree. I just stopped by Barneys New York (but didn’t end up buying anything) before heading to "Lindt"!
I was curious about their chocolate drink, but since I planned to have soft serve ice cream at Mikado Coffee afterwards, I decided to just get the classic "Lindor" chocolate.
(I chose pistachio and hazelnut and more.)
I enjoyed it at my hotel, the Vanpe Hotel, that night.
The chocolate shell and the filling inside—this classic combination never fails to impress!
Personally, I recommend the pistachio, hazelnut, and coconut, but everything was delicious.
It was a great meal!
