Delicious Pudding Jam with Crackers
I visited Grocery Court Cerfeuil in Karuizawa, a shop located in Karuizawa Ginza that sells jams, mayonnaise, and more.
This place is known for its delicious pudding jam. I’ve been coming here every time I visit Karuizawa for years.
Whenever I see the shelves lined with jars of jam and mayonnaise, I feel a sense of excitement.
The highlight of this shop is undoubtedly the tasting corner, where you can sample various jams and mayonnaises paired with crackers.
Both the jams and the mayonnaise are irresistibly good when spread on small round crackers, and I can't stop eating them.
In that sense, this place is quite dangerous!
The pudding jam comes in sweet and bitter varieties, both of which are sweet and delicious.
Even though I know I shouldn’t, I love returning home and indulging in spoonfuls of jam straight from the jar—there’s something delightfully rebellious about it.
In addition to the sweet jams, the savory mayonnaise options are incredibly tasty. I highly recommend the anchovy mayonnaise; you can easily eat it with multiple crackers. It’s perfect as a snack with drinks or spread on toast.
Every time I come here, it reminds me of the special charm of Karuizawa.
I encourage everyone to visit at least once!

I revisited "Grocery Court Cerfeuil Karuizawa Ginza Branch," located in Karuizawa.

Although it's in Karuizawa Ginza, I personally believe, no matter what anyone says, that this is the number one souvenir from Karuizawa!
One of the highlights of my visit was the tasting of crackers available in-store.
Today, I purchased a variety including sweet pudding jam and savory mayonnaise, all of which are excellent when paired with bread and other snacks!
