A specialty shop for chocolate and rusks. We take pride in our chocolate, using a white chocolate base that intentionally minimizes the milkiness to enhance the fruit flavors. One of our popular items is the chocolate-covered macadamia nut ball with apple flavor, coated in white chocolate made with apples from Nagano Prefecture. It offers a delightful harmony of sweetness and apple tartness. |

This chocolate specialty store is about a 17-minute drive from Usui Karuizawa IC.
Their star products are chocolate balls with nuts inside and rusk, which are made in-house.
They also have a location in the Ginza-dori area of Old Karuizawa.
While browsing the store, the friendly shop staff offered me a sample of the bitter chocolate ball.
Given the decline in sample offerings during the COVID era, this was a delightful service! ♡
The bitter version was enjoyable even for those who usually dislike sweet flavors.
The large macadamia nuts inside combined with the cacao's aroma and bitterness offered a sophisticated adult chocolate experience.
With minimal additives, it seems perfect for those watching their diet, as a souvenir for men, or as a snack for the evening.
With many varieties of chocolate balls available, there's also the fun of choosing!
Since my family bought strawberry and caramel flavors, I'm looking forward to trying them.
The store is well-equipped with a few chairs and tables, and there's a self-service machine for coffee and tea, making it very comfortable.
I also spotted a few customers enjoying soft-serve ice cream sold in-store.
It was quite a delightful shop!
