This dish is loved by both adults and children alike. Nowadays, when asked about Sauce Katsu Don, everyone mentions "Meijitei." Originally, it was a Japanese restaurant specializing in kaiseki and banquet cuisine, featuring a live fish tank. The chefs prepare the Sauce Katsu Don with great care, from sourcing ingredients to meticulous preparation. I visited Meiji Tei after my friend recommended it!
There were 11 groups ahead of us—it's quite popular!
I had been looking forward to the Sauce Katsu-don. The flavor was rich, as expected from a place that specializes in sauce, but the sauce itself was light and incredibly delicious!
However, the portion was huge! This is with a reduced amount of rice.
The second plate is the large size that my friend ordered, haha.
