Long-awaited Dinner Gathering
It had been a while since I visited this restaurant near the station.
I enjoyed a shabu-shabu course featuring Okinawa's brand Agu pork, complete with appetizers, vegetables including mozuku (seaweed) and particularly lettuce, a choice of kishimen or Okinawa soba to finish off, and dessert, making for a generous meal.
The dipping sauces had a distinct Okinawan twist, including sesame sauce and Shikuwasa ponzu.
In a private room, I was able to relax and have a lovely meal with friends.

Agu Pork Shabu-Shabu We offer a variety of Japanese sake, wine, and shochu, with a focus on Okinawa Agu Pork Shabu-Shabu and Shinshu Wagyu Shabu-Shabu. |
After searching for dinner on our way back to Karuizawa, we found that most restaurants were crowded. Fortunately, when we finally entered a familiar place, there was one private room available since it was late.
The prices were generally on the higher side, but we ordered both sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. I cooked the shabu-shabu myself, while the staff prepared the sukiyaki and served it in bowls.
With delicious food and the attentive cooking by the staff, our Golden Week ended on a high note.
