I stumbled upon this place while on a touring lunch between the Noto Peninsula, the Utsukushigahara Open-Air Museum, and the Megane Bridge.
It’s stylishly located on the first floor of the New Art Museum, and there was a map for the parking lot in front of the restaurant; however, after a bit of navigating, I found an unpaved parking area quite far behind. It’s about a 5-minute walk to the restaurant.
The lunch menu had 8 types of pasta and 3 types of curry rice, but I remember the pasta set including a bread salad and coffee being around JPY 1780. I’m not a huge fan of bread, so I opted for an a la carte order instead.
After placing my order, I chose a favorite seat and noticed about three other patrons around me busily working on their computers or killing time. It’s a place where people feel comfortable hanging out! The high ceilings and glass walls give it a stylish touch, yet the atmosphere feels welcoming and relaxed.
The pasta is a flat fettuccine with a tomato-based sauce, and it’s delicious beyond words!
If I'm going to enjoy pasta, I want it to be in a place like this, where I can feel a sense of elegance... I wish I could just relax here for 2 or 3 hours!
If only I didn’t have to head back...
