■Karuisawa One-Night Trip④~Breakfast Buffet
After finishing lunch at Bakery & Restaurant Sawamura, Old Karuisawa,
I visited the 'Tokyu Harvest Club Old Karuisawa', where you can stay even if you are not a member!
Although it was before check-in, I came to drop off my luggage.
As expected of Karuisawa, I walked through the lush green garden and entered through the back door,
only to find a notice on the glass door...
'Wild boars have been spotted. Please keep the door closed.'
I didn’t see any warnings about bears, but I guess it’s the season for wild boars.
Fortunately, that notice was only for that day, and when I headed to the breakfast venue, 'Sai', the next morning,
the notice was gone. I was relieved.
I had dinner outside at a nearby restaurant,
and even after dinner, it seemed fine to take a walk, but unfortunately, it rained that day.
So, I enjoyed local beer in my room and welcomed a refreshing morning.
Let’s head to the breakfast buffet venue.
■Today's Breakfast Rice Buffet
First, I grabbed some orange juice and fresh milk,
then I went for a Western-style breakfast.
Of course, I had to get the classic omelet made right in front of me.
Just that alone got me really excited...
But I still wanted to finish off with a Japanese-style breakfast.
For some reason, I also brought some curry (laughs).
Naturally, I had to add fukujinzuke to my rice.
There wasn’t anything particularly special, but
everything was above average in taste, and I was satisfied.
After enjoying dessert and taking a short break,
let’s head to our destination for the day,
Harnire Terrace by bus...
The bus stop is at Karuisawa Station, and as I walked along the path to the station, I noticed the trees flourishing around me.
"Oh!" A cute little squirrel was climbing a tree.
Karuisawa is full of nature.
If it’s a little squirrel instead of a wild boar, I’m all for it!
