The starred items were especially delicious.
The soup was a corn soup so refined that it hardly felt appropriate to call it just that; it contained millet dumplings that added a chewy texture and an inviting sweetness.
The carrot sauce was adorably colorful, resembling a sweet pudding in flavor while also having a gentle taste. Inside, there were lily bulbs, bringing back the natural sweetness and soft texture I hadn't enjoyed in a long time.
Both the sashimi and fried dishes were delightful, with the truffle-infused fried oysters offering a flavor I had never experienced before.
I felt that this wonderful dining experience, enjoyed leisurely in Karuizawa at this price point, offered great value for money.
It was a great meal.
