A 12-minute walk from Karuizawa Station, this hotel is located in the old Karuizawa area, opposite the outlet. Surrounded by greenery, it features a wooden design that conveys the refreshing atmosphere typical of Karuizawa, with pleasant dappled sunlight.
For dinner, I dined at the hotel’s restaurant, "Avant." While they offer a variety of Japanese and Western fusion courses, I made a phone reservation for the more affordable of the two Western options.
Given the ample seating, I was able to secure a reservation just two days in advance.

The crêpes are filled with custard, and the harmony of the orange caramel sauce is remarkable. It’s a beautifully crafted dessert, and I’m thrilled because I love crêpes!

This course had fewer dishes than the Sanserite (JPY 11,000), but since I was drinking, this amount was just right. I enjoyed every bite until the end! ❁⃘*.゚
