優雅な中華「翠陽」さすがサンクチュアリー・ヴィラ : Chinese Suiyo

Spending two nights with my family at the Exiv Karuizawa Sanctuary Villa was an absolute luxury. We enjoyed fine dining, had drinks, and relaxed in the room's jacuzzi, making for a wonderfully leisurely experience.

For our first dinner, we made a reservation at Chinese Suiyo. As expected from the Sanctuary Villa, the entrance was stylish and glamorous. This time, we were shown to a private room.

A beautiful large decorative plate with a golden pattern adorned our table, topped with white napkins, heightening our anticipation for the meal ahead.

Six types of Chinese appetizers were served on long plates, presenting a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The Chinese soup with dried scallops and yuba, shrimp in fish fragrant sauce, steamed shrimp dumplings, and braised beef with steamed buns were all delicious. Dining at a hotel Chinese restaurant is convenient since there's no need for sharing.

The ordered Shaoxing wine, Zhao Yuan Hong, was smooth and received high praise from the ladies. For the meal, we could choose either Southern European-style fried rice or small棒々鶏 (Bang Bang Chicken) cold noodles, and since refills were free, I indulged in both.

The dessert plate featured almond tofu and sesame balls. Thank you for the wonderful meal; I left feeling satisfied and full.

My family loved it so much that we returned to Suiyo for lunch two days later. Our room offered a stunning view of the beautiful garden, capturing the essence of Karuizawa.

We enjoyed a course with salad featuring Shinshu salmon, Peking duck freshly carved at the table, crab meat and shark fin soup, steamed buns with shrimp in chili sauce, Hong Kong dim sum, Southern European-style fried rice, and Chinese desserts. It was a great deal, leaving us completely satisfied.
