  • This charming shop is located right next to the viewing platform and offers the famous Chikara Mochi (sweet red bean paste, walnuts, soybean flour, grated Japanese radish, sesame, and soy sauce). Enjoy it alongside matcha and other beverages. We also serve soba noodles, available not just during lunch hours but throughout the day, until we run out of ingredients. Please stop by before or after your sightseeing.
    We have parking available! Feel free to park and take your time enjoying the stunning views from the platform, stroll along the walking paths, or explore the unique shrines and water sources along the Nakasendo Trail, as well as hike Mount Hanakubiyama. The viewing platform and shrine are just a 5-minute walk away.
    Parking is also available for those who wish to use it only! (500 JPY per day, paid in advance. An additional 500 JPY will be charged if you exceed the day. Enjoy free parking all day with an in-store purchase of 1,500 JPY or more.)
