【Reason for Visit】Recommended by a friend.
During my workation, I decided to meet a friend for lunch near Karuizawa Station.
Many people had taken early summer holidays, so there were more tourists in town than usual.
As a result, several restaurants were fully booked, and after exploring options, we ended up at "Teuchi Soba Honjin."
▪️Soba in Three Flavors - JPY 1,650
Tororo Soba, Oroshi Mushroom Soba, Mountain Vegetables Soba
This restaurant also offers delicious sake and appetizers, but due to our schedule, we opted for a non-alcoholic choice and ordered the three-flavor soba to enjoy various tastes.
The soba came in three separate bowls: the sticky and aromatic tororo, the earthy oroshi with plenty of mushrooms, and the fresh and crunchy mountain vegetables. Each flavor provided a unique experience.
It was a great meal, thank you!
