This place is located on a quieter road just before the main road leading to Harunire Terrace from Nakakaruizawa Station, giving it a peaceful feel. The exterior and interior both exude a retro Showa-era vibe.
Their signature dishes are the pork loin cutlet and the tenderloin cutlet set meals, with the loin cutlet priced under JPY 1,000. An interesting twist here is that the cutlets are served on top of curry sauce. These two dishes can definitely be considered the main attractions. While there are other regular set meal options available, they tend to be relatively high in price, which may lead customers to naturally gravitate towards the cutlet set. I ordered the loin cutlet this time, which comes with rice, miso soup, and pickles.
Upon tasting it, the cutlet was crispy and the meat was delicious, making it quite reasonable for under JPY 1,000. However, as for the side dishes, they were just average, so while the cost-performance is impressive, it might not evoke the same excitement as described in other reviews. But if you're someone who doesn't mind the décor and is looking for an affordable place, this spot could be just right.
