Delightful Cuisine for a Relaxing Experience: "Yama no Kaiseki"
We want you to forget your busy days and enjoy the comfort of relaxing in nature. Experience seasonal ingredients and dishes inspired by mountains and rivers. We will welcome you with a delightful dinner that offers both fun and a touch of surprise. |
I visited Hoshinoya Karuizawa for a summer getaway.
The concept of Hoshinoya Karuizawa is "staying in a valley village."
I came here to relax while listening to the chirping of wild birds and to recharge both my body and mind in the hot springs.
Upon arrival, I went to the reception first.
They welcomed me with a welcome drink and then guided me to my room within the village using a cart.
The room featured a large sofa and bed, with a garden attached to each one; however, there were quite a few insects during the summer (°_°).
I had meals at the nearby Bleston Hotel and the facilities of Hoshinoya Karuizawa.
During tea or coffee breaks, there are books, newspapers, complimentary drinks (including alcohol), and snacks available.
The restaurant KASUKE, located downstairs, has a high ceiling and is designed like terraced rice fields.
Dining at this facility provides options such as Japanese cuisine at KASUKE, in-room dining, and reservations at Bleston Court and Harunire Terrace, with a cart available for transport between these facilities.
I will introduce more details on each page, but I was able to enjoy a calm and delicious meal at all of the restaurants.
KASUKE serves Japanese dishes using local ingredients from Karuizawa.
However, given the quality of the facilities, the prices are also quite reasonable (◠‿◠).
It’s a place where you can leisurely enjoy an extraordinary experience with delicious meals.
