At "Bistro Jun," a cozy French bistro, we serve creative French cuisine using Shinshu vegetables and ingredients from the chef's hometown in Tohoku. With nearly 40 years of experience, our chef delivers unique dishes crafted with skill and creativity. Enjoy a salad featuring over 20 types of leaves and herbs, or try our lunch set featuring main dishes made with Shinshu ingredients. We had dinner at Bistro Jun during our trip to Karuizawa.
It was conveniently located just a minute's walk from the villa we stayed in.
We ordered several dishes from the à la carte menu, but the staff suggested we might not have enough, so we decided to add a few more.
From the appetizers, we had terrine and octopus carpaccio, and an omelet made with Aosa seaweed.
From the main dishes, we chose eel and pork, along with octopus rice topped with salmon roe.
We shared all these with my wife and daughter.
Everything was delicious!
It was definitely priced like Karuizawa, though.
We also had a total of seven drinks.
The unique dishes like the Aosa omelet and octopus rice were definitely a highlight!
