On the second night in Karuizawa, I stayed at The Prince Karuizawa.
Since I only booked the room without breakfast, I had many restaurants in mind to try. However, the atmosphere at Beaux Séjours seemed very inviting, so I decided to dine here without hesitation.
On that day, there were many groups of international guests staying at the hotel, and they advised that the breakfast area would be crowded until 8:30 a.m. They suggested coming after that if possible. Since I wasn't in a hurry, I enjoyed a leisurely breakfast at a lovely table overlooking the pond and golf course.
The morning meal was JPY 3600, which is quite reasonable for a hotel breakfast!
You can choose from several types of juice and egg dishes. I selected grape juice and a plain omelet.
The grape juice was incredibly rich and delicious! Surprisingly delightful was the yogurt with fruit granola. I wonder where the granola was from? I forgot to ask (T_T).
The coffee was from Mikado Coffee, which also has a shop in the nearby shopping plaza.
As for the plain omelet, how does one cook it so beautifully? The grilling was perfect!
The potage was delicious, and there were various types of bread, which made me happy. However, it was quite a hearty breakfast, so I couldn't finish it all (≧∇≦).
The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was outstanding. It was a fitting place to mark my 100th breakfast experience (*^_^*).
It was a great meal.
